The Kids’ Fishing Clinic is a one day educational event conducted by the Marine Industries Association of Collier County Foundation, with the help of Outreach and Education (O&E) Subsection of the Division of Marine Fisheries Management in the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).
The primary goal of this program is to create responsible marine resource stewards by teaching children the vulnerability of Florida’s marine ecosystems and ethical angling skills. The Clinic also teach fundamental saltwater fishing knowledge and skills while promoting a positive fishing experience.
Volunteers Arrive: 7:30AM
Clinic: 9:00AM – 1:00PM
Registration: 9:00AM – 12:00PM
Participants (5-15 years of age) can arrive between 9:00am-12:00pm. The clinic is free and will take approximately 1 hour to complete. There is no pre-registration. Please park in any available public parking areas within walking distance to the Pier
